Request account and data deletion

1. Sign in to the Stayawhile account you want to delete.
2. Click the “Delete my account” button below.
3. Confirm the deletion request. Your account data will then be removed from active systems.

When you delete your Stayawhile account, we delete account-related personal data including:

• Profile information such as bio, interests, location, phone number and preferences.
• Companion profile information, verification details and availability, where applicable.
• Messages, bookings, favourites, reviews, reports, notifications and AI conversation history.
• Uploaded documents associated with your account, where they are stored by Stayawhile.

We may retain limited information where required for legal, safety, fraud prevention, accounting, payment, dispute resolution or regulatory reasons.

Financial transaction records may be kept for up to 7 years where required by law. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being overwritten as part of normal system backup cycles.

Any retained information is only kept for the purposes listed above and is not used to provide an active Stayawhile account.
